Steve was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He was a math major at M.I.T. and moved to Texas in 1991 to escape from the cold northeast weather. Steve currently works for Texas Mutual Insurance Company, and was recently appointed to the Round Rock Independent School District Board of Trustees. A resident of Northwest Austin, Steve and his family have lived in Austin for eight years. His two teenage kids attend Westwood High School.
Why He's a Habitat Hunter
Having bought and sold several homes over the past 25 years, Steve enjoys using technology to search through hundreds of homes and land on the homes best suited for buyers. Steve has an analytical mind that he enjoys putting to use to help you solve your real estate needs. His mathematical background affords him the opportunity to zero in on housing trends and pricing considerations. Additionally, as a Trustee of the Round Rock School Board, Steve is very knowledgeable about the public school education system, and which neighborhoods and schools might be the best fit for a buyer's needs.
Steve's hobbies all center around his family. His two children are both members of the Westwood High School marching band, and Steve is a supportive "Band Dad", riding the bus with kids to games and moving ladders and equipment for the halftime shows. Steve is also an avid sports fan and enjoys travel, especially taking cruises out of Galveston.
