Jeff is a native Texan, with childhood roots in Dallas and the last 20 years in Houston. At first, Austin was a temporary move for Jeff and his wife, but they both quickly decided to make Austin their new home! Jeff and his wife of 24 years met during college at Stephen F. Austin State University and have raised an amazing daughter who lives in Tennessee. Having lived in Dallas and Houston, he appreciates everything about Austin, including the vibe of the Austin people and the diversity of events going on at any time.
As a Funeral Profesional for the past 25 years, Jeff has served families during their most difficult times, creating a better way to serve families with greater care and compassion while respecting their financial means. In 2001 he opened his first funeral home, followed by 12 others in Dallas, Houston and Austin.
In the process of opening these locations, Jeff found that he had a true talent and passion for finding and negotiating the perfect spaces for his business, thus he chose Real Estate as a new career. His skill sets combine his talent for finding places that match the needs of those seeking new spaces mixed with his passion for serving others and experience in advising and guiding them.
Jeff chose to be a Real Estate Agent at Habitat Hunters because he appreciates the boutique style in which they serve clients. He has always believed in providing the highest level of service to others, and above all else, establishing a relationship built on trust. He knows first-hand how important the perfect environment is to create the best work/life balance. To be able to work with families or individuals and find them the perfect home, or budding or established businesses looking for the perfect commercial location is a trust that is deserving of his time and the collective knowledge of the entire team at Habitat Hunters.
Jeff loves taking advantage of everything Austin has to offer: exploring new hiking trails with my dogs, biking around Lady Bird Lake, shopping on South Congress, listening to live music and exploring all of the wonderful culinary offerings from food trucks to upscale dining.
Some interests include activities with family (three grandchildren) and friends, traveling, and reading. In the community, she serves a board member for Village Christian Apartments and volunteers at Habitat for Humanity.
