Property Tax Protest Services

Texas Property TaxesAre you paying too much property tax?  Has the county assessed your property value thousands higher than expected?

Did you know that:

  • It’s YOUR RIGHT to protest your property taxes?
  • Habitat Hunters Real Estate Services, with our experience, expertise and history in business since 1972, has the tools to help you do this?
  • New tax rates for most tax entities in Texas are set in the fall of the current year, right before the tax bills are issued.
  • In Texas, the deadline to protest property values is May 31 or 30 days after the appraisal district sends notice of the assessed value, whichever is later. If the 31st falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the deadline is the following business day.

Testimonials

I was rushed to find a new place and Curt spent the entire afternoon taking me around to different apartments. He found several awesome places that were in my preferred location and price range. Curt was knowledgeable and very organized, I would definitely recommend Curt/Habitat Hunters for anyone looking for a place in Austin!
